Synopsis

Thor, son of Norse God Odin, is banished to Earth. While on Earth his brother Loki wreaks havoc on their home planet of Asgard. Thor must not only find his weapon of choice, the legendary Mjölnir, he must also get back in the good graces of his father to help save Asgard.

Marvel Fun Fact

Chris Hemsworth was not the first actor pursued for the part of Thor. Brad Pitt, Kevin McKidd, Channing Tatum and even wrestler Triple H were all in the running as well. Daniel Craig was also allegedly offered the role in 2008 but turned it down due to his committment to play iconic movie hero James Bond.
